Dragonball Doujinshi

Dragonball doujinshi, or "professional-style" fan mangas are fairly numerous and various. In Japan, they are very popular and often traded or sold between fans and fan circles (many of which are creators of their own fan manga). They have gatherings much like anime conventions in the USA, but perhaps somewhat smaller in scale. Doujinshi are printed and bound like regular professionally published books or magazines, complete with professional quality paper and binding. These, like the daizenshu, are printed in Japan and are in the Japanese language usually. Most are black and white though some rare ones are in color like a comic book. Doujinshi are NOT recognized or licensed by the creators or distributors of the show itself. They are just fan creations just like fanfics and fanart. Sometimes you can find them at anime stores (some online stores, especially those from Japan often carry them), but your best bet is online auctions sites like Ebay and Yahoo. Most of the ones I have collected were acquired through Ebay auctions. They may or may not be found at anime conventions. It depends on the rules of the convention. If they ban unlicensed items then it is likely that you will not see doujinshi there.

I will display portions of my doujinshi collection in this section here.
