My comments on various Dragonball dubbed episodes:
Gohan's SSJ 2 transformation (end of episode which aired Dec.12, 2000): This was supposed to be the turning point for the entire Dragonball series and sadly, it came and went rather impassively. The voice actors were fantastic in getting the effect of emotion in the characters (I commend Stephanie on doing a great job with Gohan's yell during the transformation. It was dead on), but for those of us who have seen the original version of this episode, we know there was so much more than just the voices. The heart-touching emotional song, "Spirit vs. Spirit" played during the transformation in the original episode. In the dub, we only heard some dull backdrop music. This was rather disappointing considering I have seen other dubs such as Sailor Moon acquire and still use some of the original music scores in the dubs. Funimation could've made the effort to do the same. It's not like there's bunch of these music scores within the series anyway. I won't slam the entire episode or Funimation however. The translations were very close to the original series and the voice actors are doing a fine job in capturing the emotions of their characters. I do so hope that when the uncut tape and DVD versions of this episode are released, that Funimation is kind enough to keep that song in there.
Dec. 13th episode: I'm not totally disappointed. Not as much as I was by the other episode. But they did remove the stunning effects of Gohan's punches on some of the Cell Jr's. I mean, some of these Cell Jr's were split in two by a single punch! We of course, only saw large puffs of smoke. Kinda strange that this was edited yet the bashing of 16's head by Cell's feet wasn't. The Cell Jr's are android too so why not? Perhaps it's because Funimation dubbed them as children? Wouldn't want a child destroying another child like that? Hmmm, dunno, but the inconsistency on what is edited and what is not is rather annoying. Still, the voice acting and translations are very commendable. (Aside from Mr. Satan being called Hercule *cough cough*. I'm curious to see how the edit all those signs,etc. that say "Satan" on them in the later episodes).

Dragonball Video Game Info
I do not know a whole lot about the video games. I do know that most of these aside from Final Bout are in Japanese format only and difficult to find, especially in the US. Also, I have never played any of these so please don't email me for details,etc. about them. I'll add more detail to each as I discover or actually play some, but I suggest checking out some of the larger, longer-lived Dragonball sites for more info on these.
