Dragonball fansubs

There are numerous places and distributors for the Dragonball series fansubs. There are two questions you need to ask yourself when picking a fansub place to order:
1. Quality of the fansubs?
Some of the places for fansubs have copies that are several generations down...meaning they have been taped from copies that have been taped...you get the idea.
2. Repute?
You don't want to pay for something you may not get. Read through a fansubbers rules and if any, messageboard or guestbook. Check their shipping methods, payment requirements, and turn around times. Also, you may run into strange hidden troubles like I did with one distributor where the packages just end up "lost" in the mail. Luckily this distributor was willing to make and resend copies, but one week turned into two months and a big headache for both of us. I've added the link to one of the reliable fansub distros I used in acquiring some of my fansubs below. . They also have some of the best quality copies I've seen. Also, let them know that you found them through my recommendation. Just say "saiyan_scholar" told me about this place or something like that, but be sure to mention my name so they can keep track. Burger King promo

Goku & Gohan Burger King figuresBurger King did a Dragonball Big Kids Meal promotion that ran from May 29 to June 18, 2000. Featured were 7 different figures that had a "pewter look" to them. Also with them was a card from the recently released collectible card game and an offer to receive a video from the Android saga. If you missed this promo or are missing some characters, I suggest scanning the Ebay and Yahoo auctions. I've seen several (including entire sets) on Ebay recently.

Where to buy stuff

Ultimate, SSJ1, chibi Gohan figuresDragonball merchandise is getting easier to find as it gains popularity. Toys can be found in most large retail stores like Kmart and Walmart, toystores like KB Toys and Toys R Us as well as video stores like Blockbuster, Saturday Matinee, and Suncoast. I've seen clothing at Kmart and Suncoast, though I'm sure if they have them others like Walmart may also sell them.

Also, many Dragonball items can be found at online auctions such as Ebay.

And online are countless anime and general stores that sell Dragonball merchandise. Two of the most "thorough" online stores are linked below. You'll find just about every Dragonball type merchandise that's available at either of these stores.
